Mannyprobz

Chris starred in, created, wrote, and produced Mannyprobz, a digital series styled as a mockumentary that was an official selection of the 2018 NYC Webfest.

It offered a hilarious, heartfelt, and often absurd look at a recent college graduate’s struggle to make a living in the big city while aspiring to become a musical theater/Broadway star.

Featuring Chris as a male nanny in New York City in the 2010s, the series skillfully blended the chaos of childcare dilemmas—from potty training battles to scrambling for immediate babysitting before urgent work demands—with the universal hurdles of early adulthood, from big ones like how to carve out a space for yourself in the world to pressing ones like how to find a restroom in public.

The series also featured Liesl, who was a toddler at the time of filming, along with special guest appearances by talents like Tony-winner Ali Stroker and Broadway’s Andrew Chappelle.
